Theme:
Technology is blurring the borders between reality
and virtual-reality. Through the rise of the virtual
self, or ‘avatar’, humanity is moving towards a dual
state of being as more of us begin to create online
‘personas’ to complement our real selves. Yet whilst
we begin to separate into two ‘selves’ in many ways,
there are also instances emerging that begin to
converge the digital with the real. Can the personas
of the virtual realm leak into our everyday life?
